Dear Neighbours,

We hope you had a great time at the annual Community Picnic on Sunday. We wouldn’t be able to have such a successful event without the help of the businesses and groups in the community that support us.

A big welcome to Chad McDowell – the new owner of Valu-Mart on Bayview. Thank you so much to Chad (and Mike helped me with the order) for providing us with drinks, condiments, hotdog and hamburger buns and other supplies. Drop in to Valu-Mart if you haven’t been there in a while!

Life Choices
A huge thank you to Matt from Life Choices for the hot hogs and hamburgers made from responsibly raised grass fed beef. If you liked those, you’ll love their new Rolling Meadow Dairy grass fed milk. It’s delicious AND healthier than conventional milk with more vitamins and nutrients, as well as a better Omega fat balance. It’s available in Longo’s, Summerhill, Whole Foods and most natural food stores. Give it a try today!!

Summerhill Market
Many thanks to Summerhill for supporting our event each year with the tender, fresh corn we all enjoyed plus the lovely gift basket which was a big hit at the raffle as always.

Police & Fire
The excitement from the kids at seeing the Police officers, Fire Fighters and all of their vehicles is great to see. Thank you for being part of our community event and for keeping us safe!

See you next year,
Karri and the GBRAIMG_8192 IMG_8193 IMG_8196 IMG_8197IMG_8200 IMG_8201 IMG_8203 IMG_8209
