University-Rosedale Municipal Candidates Debate, October 3rd, 7-9P.M.

The Governor’s Bridge Ratepayers Association is joining with neighbouring residents associations to host a University-Rosedale (Ward 11)municipal candidates debate on Wednesday, October 3rd.

This is your opportunity to hear from three of the candidates running for Toronto City Council in the October 22ndmunicipal election, in the newly created Ward 11.

For Governor’s Bridge residents, important local issues lie ahead including development pressures and municipal planning; public safety and policing; ravine restoration and green spaces; public transit; traffic and area parking.

As a Governor’s Bridge resident, this is your opportunity to learn where the candidates stand on the issues most important to you.

Three candidates have been jointly selected by the host organizations to participate in the debate.

They are:

  • Marc Cormier;
  • Mike Layton;
  • Nicki Ward;

Any other candidates attending the event will be introduced by the emcee.
