Join us as we learn about the relationship between farming, habitat and pesticides.  Pollinators truly do affect the health of our communities, environment and foodshed.  Learn how we can contribute to their health by understanding the relationship between the growing of food and pollinators.

Bryan Gilvesy joins us from ALUS – Alternative Land Use Services  – where he has pioneered different native and natural techniques to provide habitat for native pollinators. With much success these techniques have been adopted on farms across Canada. Bryan has worked with much of the global pollinator research and is an experienced educator in this field.

Train derailments involving dangerous goods have become exremely frequent in North America making headlines on an almost monthly basis.

Millions of Canadians live, work or attend school within the 1km radius “blast zone”. We need to act before the next derailment causes serious loss of life and devastating damage to our environment.

Rail Safety First invites you to attend this very important Town Hall to discuss rail safety and the need for increased government regulation to protect Canadians.
